MMO
I think I'm burned out on MMO games. The whole idea of an MMO is to take advantage of the obsessive nature of their customer base. So the games end up with a lot of repetition to accomplish goals or to get shiny prizes at the end.
There are better ways to get shiny prizes. I can try and take the time I spend playing MMOs and try and get real shiny prizes.
I still hope to find an online game that's fun though.
I guess it's not just MMOs that have that problem. Many japanese style role playing games suffer the same issue with 'grinding'. Although it's not as insidious, since they're not trying to get you to play their game infinitely.
