Video Games @ NYCC 09
Every year, the New York Comic Con seems to bring more and more gaming attention. At first it was playable TMNT, Pirates of the Burning Sea, and Elebits.
This year brought some outstanding and anticipated titles.
The stuff I was interested in includes: Mad World, Star Trek Online, Champions Online, Overlord 2, Dragon Age Origins, Battleforge, Ghostbusters,, and DC Universe Online. There were also many other titles on display including F.E.A.R. 2 and a Red Faction game.
Penny Arcade @ NYCC 09
The duo behind Penny Arcade(Mike Krahulik and Jerry Holkins, better known as Gabe and Tycho) blessed the east coast with their presense. They had a large booth which also featured Scott Kurtz. Together they sold merch and signed autographs along with the rest of their crew which included family and Khoo.
Walter Simonson
Walter Simonson, the legendary comics writer and artist was at the New York Comic Con. He also was at my cousin's booth: Epic Proportions (booth #1908). http://epicprops.com
He designed a shirt exclusively for Epic Proportions and the 2009 NYCC. He also signed them and their certificates of authenticity!
